Friday's Foto Finish Fiesta

I am so glad that it's Friday because that means this crazy birthday week is almost over for me. I considered posting some pictures of all the birthday folks but that was going to take to long and I have a headache tonight so I decided on something short and sweet.

This is Ginger our now almost 2 yr old Chiuaua from last summer. We got Ginger from a friend of ours who was given her by another family. For some weird reason this family bought Ginger for their 16 year old daughter under the condition she take care of her because the mother had the 16 year old, a 13 year old, two 8 year olds, and a 9 mth old baby. Well the 16 yr old didn't take care of her so they gave her to our friends and we ended up taking her. A Chiuaua was not the type of dog that Dave and I wanted and I still wouldn't choose one now but we love Ginger.

I do find it funny how in the winter we have to force Ginger to go outside because she hates the cold and forget the snow but in the summer she will pace at the door constantly to go outside. She loves to lay in the sun and this is one of her favorite spots, my guess is because it's out of the way of the kids and the stones are warm from the sun.

Now head over to Candid Carries and share a picture of yours.

Nana

Today marks the fourth birthday of the week and it belongs to one of my best friends Shanna, or Nana as my kids call her.

Shanna and I went to high school together and we were both on the Color Guard but we barley spoke to each other. In fact I despised her back then because she was mean and stuck up (don't ask what she thought of me). Things got so bad at one point that Dave got involved and then her brother got involved and it was just plain ugly. Somehow we managed to escape High School without killing each other.

A few years later our mutual friend Jenn was getting married and invited us both to her bachlorette party and the wedding. Shanna and I talked at the bachlorette party and since we were the only friends making the trek to PA for her wedding we decided to sit together and we actually had a good time.

Shortly after that Shanna moved into the apartment across from Dave and I and the two of us have been friends ever since. If you would have asked me 10 years ago if I would have planned a bridal shower, and baby shower for Shanna I would have said you were smoking crack but I have done both. I am so glad that we were both able to grow and change as people so that we could become friends because I can't imagine my life without her in it.

So to you Shanna, Have a very Happy Birthday you deserve it!

The Nick Man

Today is the second of three family birthdays and the third of 5 birthdays of people I am close to this week. Yes you have read correctly all three of my siblings were born in the same freaking week of February and I have two very close friends that fall between them. I really hate this week/month even though I love the people with the b-days.

So we know Stephy Lou was Monday, well yesterday was our awesome friend Davids or as we call him Big D's 29th birthday. Today is the older of my two brothers (but still my little brothers)Nick's 23rd birthday. Now you will just have to wait to find out who the other birthday folks are and when there are because this is really Nick Man's day.

I was 4 going on 5 when Nick was born and I remember allot about the week he was born. At the beginning of that week my dad had surgery (one of many back then) on his knee so he was on crutches for Stephs birthday. The following Day my grandma had come over to help my mom do some cleaning and last minute things for the new baby. Steph and I were playing nicely in our bedroom with all her new toys. At the time we had bunk beds and the top bunk was mine but it was off limits to Steph. Our mom and dad thought it was too high for her to be climbing on. Well that day since dad was gone and mom was busy we decided it would be fun to take all the stuffed animals and barbies up to my bed and play boat. I climbed up first and she tossed all the toys up to me and then she started her climb for the top bunk. She got about half way and got scared so I leaned over and told her to grab my hand. Instead of just reaching for me with one hand and holding on with the other she let go completely and tumbled to the floor with a very loud thud! It turned out that that thud broke her collar bone so we spent the rest of the day at the doctors waiting for them to set it.

Of course as luck would have it the very next morning my mom went into labor with Nick (who up until that point was known as Andrea because the ultrasound tech told them it was going to be another girl). Since my mom and dad had only discussed girl names for him they didn't have anything picked out so my mom let my dad name him. That is how Nick Man got the name Nicklaus Hogan Jurden after my dad's two favorite golfers Jack Nicklaus and Ben Hogan. I don't know if he knew how well the name would grow to fit Nick but he has golf in his blood for sure.

Unfortunately for me I do not remember much of Nick during his first year because of everything that happened with my father so I skip forward to when Nick was about 2 and Steph and I would torture him all the time. We made him play barbies with us and we would dress him up in our fancy church dresses all the time. The worst thing we did though was pile up tons of blankets and towels on the laundry room floor and then send Nick down the laundry shoot and into them like a pile of leaves. I'm pretty sure if Steph or I would have fit we would have done it to but Nick was not that excited about the whole thing. He was always such a good sport about everything we did and he never complained about it.

Today Nick towers over Steph and I so we can't really force him to do anything but I'm pretty sure if we ask him to he would do whatever it is because that is just the type of guy he has grown up to be. Nick isn't one to show emotion for much of anything, really nothing at all even when he is excited you don't know. The only times I have seen him show any emotion have been when my two children were born, the day he got married, and then funerals of our uncle and grandfather this year. Allot of people that knew our father say he is just like him in the regards but I think part of this for him was that he grew up in a house full of crazy women. :) Either way Nick is an amazing man and a great brother. I hope he has an awesome day today.

*I'm writting this at work because I don't feel like working at all so later today when I get home I will ad

Lil Sis

Today is all about my lil sis because it's her 25th Birthday. I can not believe I just wrote that. She should not be that old yet it's just crazy to me.

Anyway my sister is a character all her own. She LOVES her birthday more than any other day the entire year. Every year she plans a huge birthday party with all her friends (all million of them). She buys a dress, shoes, purse, jewelery, the whole works for this party every year and usually has a blast.

This year didn't work out so well for her though. She started the evening off with dinner at Typhoon (sushi) with her closest friends and other than there table not being ready when they got there it was great. After that they headed off for a bunch of different bars and clubs and that is when things went south. Apparently a guy she was taking to for a while but stopped showed up and was being a bit of a dick so much so that she had to keep herself surrounded by friends at all times so he would leave her alone. She also had an old friend yell at her but I don't know why and another friend ditch her. the final straw for the night was when she was standing at the bar talking with friends and some strange guy standing beside her pukes all over the front of her including her face. Somehow she managed to no get sick herself but she couldn't get this guys vomit off her. I think it's a good thing that I was not there with her or I would have hit that guy for puking on her, who does that kind of thing?

Anyway after that she went home and to bed. I felt so bad yesterday for her when she was telling me about her party this year. She was so excited about it and had been counting down the days for two weeks. I just hope that today her actually birthday is much better and that maybe the meal I made for her last night helped a little too!

*If anyone knows any nice, cute, single guys that love sports and are looking for a girlfriend let me know because my lil sis is single and looking. Just don't tell her I said this. :) *

Good Friday

Yesterday was a good Friday, the first in a long time. The day started as it always does with me going to work. For the last 2 months work has been complete hell thanks to the administration change. These are always hard to deal with because most things get put on hold until the new person figures out what is going on. It also means that all the managers and other who serve at the pleasure of the Attorney General are freaking out because they don't know if they are going to keep their jobs or not. Anyway our Manager is one of those that might not be around much longer and that has made him even more of an ass than normal. Yesterday however I did not have to talk to him about anything which helped make the day better. I was also able to learn some new things that are becoming my responsibility, train my supervisor on some of the new things I have already taken on that our Manager wouldn't train her on, and accomplish all of my to-do list yesterday.

At 4 I left work and went to pick up the kids. Thursday evening my MIL called and apparently she had talked to Dave earlier in the week about getting the kids again this weekend. We have some things going on Sunday so she is going to bring them back early but I couldn't tell her no all together because she seemed really excited about seeing them. I'm not sure what is going on with this every two weeks thing but I'm not complaining. So I picked the kids up and headed north towards our meeting spot. We pass Dave's work on the way up so typically we stop and pick him up since I get their about the same time he is supposed to get off work. This wasn't the case yesterday because Dave had three appointments scheduled for yesterday evening but the kids and I stopped anyway so he could see them and because we had some time to kill. While we were standing around talking to some of Dave's co-workers one of them came up and was talking to Emma. He told her that she looked very pretty and her response was "I know thank you"! I about died when she said that, but everyone just laughed and then said that Emma may look like me but she was all Dave. It is very true though Emma's personality is more Dave's than mine and the tell-it-like-it-is, No BS she gets from her dad for sure.

I left there and met my MIL, then I headed back home. Dave called on my way back home and said he would be home around eight so I should hold off on dinner so we could eat together. So I came home and changed my clothes, fixed my hair and make-up, and played a few games on boggle online until Dave got home. Dave was in the mood for Mexican so we went up to Las Margarita's for dinner. It was packed but we didn't have to wait to long for a table. Now for me I can't go to this restaurant without ordering a Frozen Margarita. They are huge and really good! It took a long time for them to get our food out to us but they give you free chips and salsa that of course taste amazing but Dave and I went through two bowls of them and I had drank half my Margarita. Finally our food got to us and it was GREAT as always, and too much so I have my Nachos for lunch today. By the time we left the restaurant I was feeling more than a buzz from my one drink but now quite drunk. It was very strange since I only had the one margarita the only thing I can think is that my stomach was too empty when I started drinking.

Since Dave had to work early this morning we came back home and we just sat in the living room and talked for a couple of hours about all kinds of things. It reminded me of the conversations we used to have when we were in High School and it was so nice.

So there you have it my Good Friday, the first in a long time.

*A side note for you, Ian didn't have any accidents yesterday either1 YAY!!!!*

Friday's Foto Finish Fiesta

Let me start off by saying I'm sorry for the lack of post this week but it has been a little crazy around here and I've been very grumpy. Today was actually a good day so I am hoping my mood has made a turn upwards.

Are you wondering what has made today a good day? Well part of what has made this day a good one is due to this little guy

He did NOT want to have his picture taken tonight so this was the best I could do. Please ignore the snot coming out of his nose and the no hair thing thanks to his dad. Anyway Ian has officially made me a mother of all big kids, no more babies. He did this by finally becoming potty trained. Yep that's right, Ian hasn't peed or pooped in anything since last weekend (when he was sick) and today he wore big boy underwear all day without having an accident. The sitter even had him wear them during nap time and he didn't have an accident.

I don't think words can explain how happy and excited I am that I no longer have children in diapers. I have been buying and changing diapers non stop for almost 5 1/2 years now and they were getting really old.

Now it's your turn to head over to Candid Carries and join in the fun of Friday's Foto Finish Fiesta.

Please don't call Children's Services!

Monday night is gymnastics's night. I rush home fix something quick and easy for dinner like leftovers or soup and sandwiches. Then I get Emma dressed and we head off to her gymnastics class.

While she is in class I sit with my friend Lindsay in the bleachers and Ian plays either by himself or on nights like tonight with Mason (Lindsay's son). For some reason here lately the place gets really crowded just before Emma's class is over so the stands fill up. Lindsay and I were sitting about three rows up and some people were sitting in front of us so it was a little hard to for the girls to get up to us to get there clothes back on.

While Emma was getting dressed she starts saying the craziest stuff. This is how our conversation went

Emma: Don't kick me

Me: What are you talking about? I didn't kick you!

Emma: Yes you did

Me: Where did I kick you then?

Emma: In the face!

Me: Excuse me!! When did I kick you in the face?

Emma: At Ree (the babysitters) today.

Me: Emma Mae I did not kick you in the face ever and you need to quit saying that because people are going to think I really did kick you and then they will call the cops on mommy.

Emma: Ok I'm sorry you didn't kick me.

Now Emma said all of this fairly loud around a room full of parents so I can only imagine what they think now. To top it off just as I finished this conversation with Emma another mom carries Ian over to me because he fell and hit his lip and was crying.

The worst part of the evening was by the time I got Ian's coat on and had climbed down the bleachers Emma was heading out the front door of the place into the dark parking lot without me. Of course I went after her as quick as I could and snatched her up. She was trying to run around the parking with her friend and when I yelled for her she ran in the opposite direction as me. Once I caught up to her I grabbed her arm and forced her to the car but she was screaming and crying the whole way. I was so upset with her because had she run into the parking lot she could have been hit by a car or someone could have taken her.

I think it's pretty clear by this evening events that I will not be winning any Mother of the Year awards.

A V-day Surprise for Daddy

Dave and I haven't celebrated Valentines Day since we were in high school. The most we ever do is I make a special dinner. This year was that much different for us except the kids wanted to surprise him. His favorite food of all is Brownies so I bought a box of Betty Crocker Fudge brownies at the store yesterday.

On Friday Susie at Susie's Homemade shared a picture of her Valentine Brownies and I told her I was going to steal the idea. See she used a heart shaped cookie cutter and cut brownies out then used a pattern and powered sugar to decorate them. Now I changed my up a little and I did cut them into heart shapes but Emma wanted to use the gel frosting pen things to decorate them.

Didn't she do a great job? I did help her and wrote the We Love You but the rest she did all by herself. I have a feeling she might be a baker when she gets older which is probably a good thing since I HATE to bake.

Anyway, the plan was to wait until after dinner and then bring the tray to Dave as a surprise but Mr. Ian man ruined that for us and told Dave that we made him brownies as soon as he walked in the door. Dave was still surprised and he loved them. In fact they were all gone by 10:30 last night. I guess they were good! :)

Too Much of a Good Thing

Why is it that when kids find a movie they like it has to be played over and over and over again. I've never understood this and I didn't do it as a kid just ask my mom. In fact neither did Steph or Nick. Yes we loved movies and watch them more than once but never the same movie more than once a day or even two days in a row unless it was the standard 3 day rental from Blockbuster and we new it was going back.

Now my baby brother KJ was different. At about 2 1/2 he found a movie that he was head over heals in love with and if he was at home and it wasn't on in the living room he would scream and cry until we put it on. He ended up ruining this movie for me even though it was a great one. The movie was The Lion King and to this day I can't not stand to watch it. It brings back those irritating feelings from the days of KJ's obsession with it.

According to my MIL Dave was also like this as a kid only his Lion King was Major League. He could recite every line in that movie by heart without the movie on and to this day still knows most of it. So I am guessing this is where my children get this from. So far neither of them have been addicted to a single movie for more than a couple of months but even that is too much. Currently we are on the Ghostbusters kick. We bought the box set for them on the 1st and since then there have only been three days that one of these movies has not been played. Most evenings we watch both Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II. At first I didn't mind because I could put it in and cook dinner without them bugging me or getting into things but I have now reached the point where I'm starting to hate these movies and I don't want that. They really are good movies so I don't want them to become another Lion King for me. I really need to find them a new movie to watch.

Friday's Foto Finish Fiesta

As promised here it is

Yes that is me in my brand new glasses so what do you think? They came in Tuesday so I left work a few minutes early to make sure I would get there in time to pick them up. It was very strange that evening after dinner when I sat down at the computer with them on. They are not that strong of a prescription but they make such a huge difference. I no longer have the tension behind my eyes and in my forehead when I read and I haven't come home with headache since I got them. It is hard for me to walk or watch tv with them on. I get this dizzy out of balance/sea sick feeling when I try so they are on and off all day long at work. That is probably the only thing I don't like about having them

As usual I am playing along with Candid Carries Friday Foto Finish Fiesta and so should you.

Question # 1 Answered

Yesterday I asked for some help with blog topics because I'm feeling stuck in a rut. So today I will answer the first question asked and tomorrow I will answer the second one.

First up is Mrs. Tif at McCallens Mussings with this:

I'd like to hear about your best summer adventure... because even though we're having a spring preview, I'm desperate to have more sunshine in my life right now! :)

So my best summer adventure! I really had to think about this one for a while because allot tended to happen during the summer for me as a pre-teen and teenager. I mean every year of high school we spent one week in July at Band Camp where I would end up going to the hospital for some reason. Then there was the summer mom took us to Disney World but I don't know that I would consider than an adventure. Of course there was the summer before my senior year where I spent most weekend nights at some party or in the woods drinking anything we could get a hold of. If we were desperate enough we would get a case or two of beer and the beer bong and head down to this spot under and underpass and get drunk there. Yes I know we were not so smart but this is what we did.

Even though some of those things were risky they still didn't seem adventurous enough for this question and then it finally hit me. About a month after I graduated High School a group of friends and I piled in a car and drove up to Cleveland to spend the weekend with one of our friends who had moved up there. She was living with her Aunt and Uncle for the summer and babysitting her young cousins before she started College at Kent State in the fall.

So four of us girls piled in a car very early on a Friday morning and drove up. It should have been a three hour drive for us but there was some major construction traffic that delayed us and then a detour that we got lost on so it turned into a four hour drive. That still put us at our friends house by mid afternoon. We helped her babysit the rest of the afternoon and then we all got dressed and headed into downtown Cleveland for a fun night on the town. I don't remember everywhere we went that night but I now most of the places were on the docks by Lake Erie. I know this area had a name but I can't remember it.

The next day we spent doing allot of site seeing types of things like the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame and a few museums because we were nerdy like that. We also went out to the Horse Farm where our friend was riding at and those of us that had non open toes shoes got to ride. This of course did not include me because I only packed sandals for the trip. We finished the night at another family members house swimming and goofing off until the early morning hours.

Our last day there we went back into the city to go to one of the main malls there. On our way there we got lost for the second time on this trip and the person driving turned the wrong way down a one way street. We had cars coming straight at us and no where to go. The five of us in the car were screaming at the top of our lungs and by the grace of god we were able to get off onto a side street. we did finally make it to the mall and ended up eating at the Hard Rock Cafe that was attached to the mall.

I think the reason I would consider this my favorite summer adventure was because it was the first trip I took without my mom, grandma, or a school chaperon.

So I hope this worked for you Tif and thanks for the questions.

Same Old, same old

Lately everyday has been pretty much the same as the one before it and the one after it. Got to work, come home, fix dinner, play with kids, depending on the night give baths (they both have exima so they aren't supposed to bathe everynight), put them to bed, watch some TV, then start it all over again the next day. The only things that change are what I make for dinner, what I watch on TV, and of course work changes.

This is leaving me with very little to blog about these days. I mean you guys do not want to hear me complain about the crapiness that is my work right now. Don't get me wrong on this one I am glad nothing major is going on because it means nothing bad but life is a little boring.

So anyone have any questions they want to ask me or stories they would like me to share. Don't be shy you can ask me anything I just can't guarentee an answer. :) I am leaving my next post in all of your capable hands!

Was that enough guilt to get you to help me out here? :)

Weekend Review

My free weekend has come to an end which is always a sad thing. It's a sad thing even when it's a busy crazy weekend with the kids or not because it means back to work and the craziness of the week.

For the first time in a very long time I didn't have anything to do. I met Dave at his work Friday evening and we took his SUV up to met his mom and drop the kids off. We were both hungry and it was easier to skip getting my car and just go get dinner. We brought some very good Raising Canes home and pigged out. (Those of you that don't know Canes is a restaurant that makes the best chicken strips with a secret dipping sauce and you get crinkle cut fries, coleslaw, and the best piece of Texas toast ever.) Then Dave an I just sat and watched some TV. Around 9:30 I was exhausted so I headed off to bed and was asleep within 15 minutes of laying down. It was very unlike me but for whatever reason I need the sleep.

Saturday morning I got up and rode into work with Dave to get my car. I came home and cleaned the house which is a typical Saturday morning chore of mine. Then I took my shower, did my hair and makeup, and got dressed. I sat and flicked through the channels for a while but nothing was on. Around 12:30 I went up to Subway and got some lunch. I brought it home to eat and then I started in on my February bookclub book Goodnight Nobody by Jennifer Weiner. I spent the rest of the day reading this book because it was so good. I have always loved mysteries where the women is the detective so this was perfect for me. Dave had a sale towards the end of the day so he didn't get home until after 7. By that time I was starving so we ran and got something to eat and came back home. Our friends called shortly after that and they were wanting to get out of the house so they came over with their two month old son and we stayed up until after midnight talking and watching TV together.

Today I slept in longer than Dave did which never happens but was nice. Once I finally got up I showered and got ready. Then we both went grocery shopping, came home and unloaded the groceries. I spent the rest of the afternoon finishing my book.

I know it wasn't an exciting weekend but I think it was exactly the kind of weekend I needed. I had a nice low key weekend and I got to spend allot of quiet time with my hubbie.

Friday's Foto Finish Fiesta

Holly Cow it's really Friday! I am so excited that this week is finally over and I can't wait for my quiet weekend. I am hoping my glasses come in tomorrow or early Saturday so I can read my bookclub book.

Anyway with Friday comes Candid Carries Friday Foto Finish Fiesta. I wasn't sure what picture to post so I was looking through my picture folders and I came across this.

This was taken the weekend after Christmas at the Columbus Zoo. The kids and I met my best friends Shanna and Jenn and there kids Colin, Andrew, and Tyler. It was a very warm day so it was the perfect time to go to the zoo. This picture was taken in Manatee Cove. In the same aquarium as the Manatee's there are big Sea Turtles. The Turtles are Ian's favorite animals at the zoo. He got so excited when he saw this one and was facing me with this giant smile on his face. Of course just as I snapped the picture he turned away from me and this is what I ended up capturing. I wish I could have got Ian's face but I still think this is a cool picture.

Now it's your turn go to Candid Carries, join the fun and share a picture

Dragging

Does anyone else think this week is dragging on and on and on?

Really, I left work on Monday thinking it was the longest day ever, only to go back yesterday to what seemed like and even longer day. I'm sure waking up yesterday morning thinking it was Wednesday did not help but still.

Then today I woke up, took my shower, did my make-up and hair thinking the whole time that it was Friday. It wasn't until I took my phone off the charger and looked at it that I realized it was only Wednesday. I'm glad I figured it out at that point though because I was on my way to get dressed which would have been in jeans. Of course we can only wear jeans on Fridays so I would have been sent home if I showed up in them today. Anyway, I got to work and by 9am I felt like I had been there for two days and it just got worse.

I am praying that tomorrow actually goes by quickly because I am starting to loose my mind.

The Phone Call

We had just finished dinner tonight and I was cleaning up the mess in the kitchen when the phone rang. I dried my wet hands off and ran into the living room to see who it was. Of course it was just a stupid telemarketer so I let it ring until our voice mail picked up. Not even 2 seconds after it stopped ringing it started again. I figured it was the same telemarketer again but I still had to run in to see who it was.

Surprisingly it was my MIL calling. Now as much as I love her and think she is awesome I hate, HATE, talking to her on the phone because once you pick it up you are locked in for at least an hour. She usually doesn't call during the week while Dave is at work unless she needs to talk to me or something is wrong so even though I was in the middle of cleaning the kitchen I picked up.

Man am I glad I did because she immediately said she was calling to see if she could have the kids this weekend. Of course my answer was yes even though I was shocked that she was asking to have them so soon after the last time.

So now what should I do with my kid free weekend? Any suggestions?

Is there something strange....

.... In your neighborhood?

Who ya goina call?

GHOSTBUSTERS!

Friday night as I was getting ready to go to the grocery store Dave was flipping through the channels and came across Ghostbusters II. So while I was gone him and the kids watched the rest of it. When I got home the kids were waiting at the door to tell me all about the movie and how cool it was.

The first thing Emma told me about was the Green Ghost Slimer and how he was driving a bus.

The first thing Ian told me about was the Statue of Liverty (liberty) and how the ghostbusters made her walk and she broke the roof of a building.

It was so cute to hear them talk about how much they liked this movie. It also made me feel a little old considering I was Ian's age when the first one came out.

All morning on Saturday they talked about the movie and they even played together pretending to be the Ghostbusters with their Leapstar backpacks on and little plastic batons of Emma's as the guns that shot the slime out. Of course they kept asking me to put the movie on so they could watch it which of course I couldn't do because it was on TV that night.

When Sunday morning came and the kids were still talking about Ghostbusters I knew this meant I was going to have to find this movie and buy it for them. We had to go to Target to get my moms birthday present so I looked for it there but they didn't have it. Luckily Dave and I ran to Walmart after we left my moms and they had the box set for $9.00.

Of course we came home and put the first one on so the kids could see how the Ghostbusters started. Apparently they liked it just as much as the first one because as soon as I walked in the sitters door tonight they were ready to go home so they could watch it again. Instead of the first one again I out the second one in. Something tells me that tomorrow evening they will want to watch one of them yet again. For now that's ok because Ghostbusters is a heck of alto better than Noggin.

I do find it a little funny that my kids enjoy so many of the regular movies (not cartoons) that Dave and I did when we were growing up. I guess that just goes to show that they made some darn good movies back then.

now don't forget...

If there's something strange in your neighborhood

Who ya goina call

GHOSTBUSTERS!!

Happy Birthday Mama

This is a forewarning that this month will be filled with a crap load of birthday post from me because other than Emma, Ian, Dave, and myself everyone else I am related to has a February birthday. I really hate this month.

Starting off the birthday month is my Mama. Today is her 49th birthday (shh, don't tell her I told you all how old she is). The original plan to celebrate Moms birthday was for my sister, sister-in-law and myself to take mom out. She wanted to go and do something fun with just the girls so last night we were going to take her to the Arena District. The first stop was going to be Gordon Bersch for dinner, then off to a new Piano Bar, and if that was weird we were going to go to Callaghan's.

Well it seems when mom came over here Tuesday night to check on me because I was sick and she was worried like any mom would be, she picked up my germs and is now suffering from my death cold. Of course she was not up to going out even though she had been so excited about it.

Now since she still isn't feeling that well we all decided that we will be going over to her house for a giant cookie (she didn't want cake) and some presents. Of course once we leave there it will be back home to watch the Steelers loose in the Superbowl (I'm a Browns fan so i always root for the team playing the Steelers).
