The weather here in Ohio is amazing right now and it was absolutely wonderful tonight. So after dinner Dave and I took the kids outside to play. Of course they had to get the whole bucket of toys out and then only wanted to play with the t-ball set.
It was quite cute to see little Ian swing the tiny tiny bat at the ball. For only being two the boy can hit a ball and we think he is going to be a lefty. Emma had her shots to and was doing very well. After about 20 minutes of the two of them taking turns hitting the ball. Dave and I thought it might be fun to play to. So he started pitching to me while I hit. Surprisingly it all came back to me and I was doing pretty well.
Of course the kids wanted in so I helped Ian bat while Daddy pitched to us. Ian loved every minute of it. Then it was Emma's turn. I was helping her a first but she wanted to try by herself so badly. So I helped her get her stance and off she went. She actually got a few hits which surprised me and she didn't mad or frustrated when she missed.
While Dave was pitching to Emma Ian was standing beside Dave copying every move he made. I've been saying this since Ian was born but I think he is going to be a Baseball player just like his daddy. He has always had a good and accurate arm on him and he is leaning the whole batting thing. I guess only time will tell if I'm right. What surprises me is Emma may be into softball. Again only time will tell.
I think we may have another round tomorrow evening because when it was time to clean up the kids both threw fits because they wanted to keep playing. If we are able to play tomorrow I am going to do my best to get some pictures. I really wished I had the camera out tonight but I was a little busy playing.

Batter up! Sounds like a lot of fun to be had at the Wilson House. :)
I love family game time! We usually play soccer at our house. The weather here has been amazing for that too! Great fun!
I'm jealous of your nice day. Up north, we had rain.
Sounds like fun. My kids were in the pool all evening, so I sat outside and relaxed!
