Tonight I decided to go out and water the flowers around 7 instead of 8. I usually wait until after 8 because the kids are in bed and I don't have to hassle with them while watering all the flower beds. It was so nice out today though I thought I would be nice and give them a treat.
Of course as soon as the hose came on they wanted in that water. At first I tried to keep them out of it and Emma was listening to me. Ian however could have cared less and he kept sticking his arm in and the water was running down his arm to his shirt. After about 5 minutes of fighting with him I finally gave up and decided to water my kids. They loved it, especially Ian. He giggled the entire time and would run right into the stream. 
Emma enjoyed it too but she was a little more chicken about it. She would run up really fast and then just as she got to the water she would slow down and turn around so that only her back would get wet. Once she was good and wet she had had enough and decided that the water was a little too cold so she wanted to come in. I think Ian would have played in it for an hour if I would have let him.

I really didn't want to, I swear! This is going to sound really bad but I was not in the mood to clean them up after being all wet.
My little man is a fish also ... could stay in there all day if you'd let him. Daughter another story ... can't get her hair wet or something. Whatever!
Awe..Cute! My kids love to get wet when they do it themselves, someone else squirt them though...bloody murder on the horizon. Can you hear it...the shriek of wetness. Not so much when they sit in the puddle themselves though. Weird. Love the pics.
