Ok not really but I'm taking another break from my story and Lunch usually comes after the first break. I promise though I will continue it until I have you all current on where I am in my life. If you haven't read it or need to catch up you can click here, here, here, here, and here.
I do have another secret to share with all of you though. Remember how I just had my 27th birthday? Well I may be 27 but my body is 57! I swear, I really have the body of 57 year old.
The older I get the more some of my past injuries bother me especially when the weather is changing or a storm is rolling in. If I get down on the floor to play with the kids I have the hardest time standing back without using something or someones help. It's really a sad site. I hate putting the kids to bed only because it means my tired body has to walk up the stairs. If I'm like this now what am I going to be like when I really am 57?
When I was younger I was the worlds biggest klutz. This is no joke I was so clumsy I got an award at the end of my senior year for this and fell up the stairs to the stage going to get it. I have broken both my wrist, an elbow, both feet, toes and fingers, an ankle, my knee, and my collar bone. I'm serious people, my orthopedic doctors knew me very well. On a side note when my sister does her Orthopedic rotation it will be with them which also happens to be the office our baby brothers dad works for.
Anyway, when I was younger my Uncle Ed came up with this theory as to why I was such a klutz like my Aunt Pat. He decided that since our feet were so small (size 3 in kids, 5 in women's) they were causing us to be off balance therefore making us klutzes. As I have gotten older I have noticed that my accidents don't happen as much. My last broken bone was a foot 6 months before my wedding, and my last accident was falling down my wooden stairs a year and a half ago. This has me wondering if my Uncle Ed was close with his theory. My feet have not gotten bigger but I have so maybe the weight gain from having kids has balanced me out some?
Whatever the reason is I'm glad and I hope it last because I don't know how much more my poor old body can take.

I think your center of gravity improved after having babies...something about learning how to carry a bowling ball in your belly can really help stabilize a person. And if you're old, that must mean I'm borderline ancient! Shoot.
I'm not old just my body or bones are. :))
I felt the same way before I became a vegetarian. I'm not trying to push that on you or anything. I'm just saying that after I stopped eating meat, I felt 15 again. Woot!
