Real (wo)men of genius: differnt word, same meaning

My good friend Tiff over at McCallen Mussings has started a new series based on the Real Men of Genius commercials from Budweiser. After reading her entry I shared a story with her through e-mail and she thought I should share it with you all to.

Yesterday afternoon some ladies in my office and I were having a conversation and somehow it turned into a conversation about nicknames for cities in our state. One of the ladies was talking about how when she was a kid everyone called the city of Circleville Roundtown. Now one of the other ladies whose name I will not use (I will tell you she is one of the Assistant Attorney Generals for out office, and a very intelligent women)asked why they would call it Roundtown.

OK how to put this, Circle = Round and Ville = Town. Ding, ding, ding went the light bulb in her head! :) We all laughed are butts off for that one.

* Hey I just wanted to let you all know that my good friend Lindsay over at The Adams Family has joined in the fun and added a post of her own.*

You could make a little spare change by blackmailing her with that one!

That's hilarious! I have those moments so I can't talk much but that is pretty bad.....
